Les Voiles de St. Barth Regatta

Les Voiles de St. Barth Regatta is a big time, well at least lots of really big racing yachts and…the Grateful Red. Wendell, Matt, Lilly, Ken and Kristine had the Grateful Red in racing form – around the island a couple of times, a couple of off-shore races and pretty light winds made a great regatta topped off by a well-attended Grateful Red blender bash!

Another episode of “have gas-powered blender will travel”! A first for Rodney Bay

We arrived back in St. Lucia on Tueday night, so my plans were to attend the Ladies luncheon on Wednesday.  On Thursday, the couples night for Razmataz, Ken was able to experience.  Many sailors have left for their other ports so it was just Pat, Peter, Ken and I.   When they left, Ken and I stopped at several local bars making our way back to the boat.

Friday, we announced on channel 68 that we would be having a happy hour at our boat, complete with gas powered blender.  Everyone who heard was welcomed to come at 5pm, bring some fruit or just come along to enjoy.  We had about 20 some join us.   It is a tradition Ken wants to continue.
